Accepted by various authors, but it is not validly published here. There is Triticum dicoccon Schrank [Baier Fl. 1 (1789) 389], but Schübler stated T. dococcon nob., without description and no reference to Schrank, so it is an invalid name here, and the varieties mentioned by him must be invalid as well.
